Welcome Alumni Interest Survey Photo Gallery
Dear Colorado Alumni:
We are very pleased to announce the formation of The Colorado Association of Southwestern University Alumni! We are the first statewide alumni association for Southwestern. There are approximately 190 alumni in Colorado, mostly in the Denver area. Around the state, there are alumni in all years from 2007 to 1951. The Class of 1992 has the most alumni, with nine.
An organizational meeting was held Dec. 29, 2007, in Denver. Officers were selected, goals and objectives were introduced, and we discussed ideas for programs and events. We need your feedback. We want to develop an organization that will serve the needs and interests of Colorado alumni. Please fill out the Alumni Interest Survey online. We will personally review every response. This is YOUR association, and we want it to be something of value to YOU. We want to make being a member of the Southwestern community a lifelong experience.
It is August and time to head for the mountains!
The Colorado Association invites you to a
BARBECUE DINNER
Aug. 23, 2008
4-7 p.m.
at the home of Arthur and Joan Few, both '62
Gold Hill, CO (Elevation 8300 feet)
Join us for food, visiting and, for those interested, a walking tour of the historic mining town of Gold Hill. It was the first mining town in the Territory of Nebraska, before Colorado was established, and still retains a nineteenth century atmosphere.
Barbecue and beverages will be provided by the Fews. Attendees are asked to bring a side to complement the meal (e.g. beans, potato salad, coleslaw, salad, condiments, bread, etc.).
RSVP to Arthur and Joan Few at
